The story
We founded Payforget after years of working as freelancers, self-employed consultants and tech leads — and noticing the same problem every year: tens of thousands of euros in input VAT slip away simply because no one asks for a tax invoice at the register.
We built a platform that connects acquirers (Cardcom, Pelecard and others) to the tax authority. Every transaction on a connected card becomes an original digitally-signed tax invoice automatically, delivered to the customer and their accountant.

12 people across engineering, regulation and customer success. All of us are ex-self-employed. We felt this inefficiency on our own skin.
